Do you want to lighten your hair without dying it? I recommend Sun In.
I started using Sun In several years ago. It is a natural hair lightener. You spray it into damp hair, and apply heat (either via a blow dryer, or the going out in the sun). You can visibly notice the difference after just one use! Though the lighter you want your hair, the more times you should apply Sun In.
Before using it, this was the shade of my hair:
This is it's shade today (no dye, just Sun In):
Something I've noticed, too, is that while hair dye lasts more short-term, the effects of Sun In last much longer. Plus, a bottle of Sun In is less than 5 bucks. And it goes a long way. I have long hair and can use the same bottle for a year.
Another cool thing is, you can either highlight, or lighten all of your hair. Either one is easy to do.
So, if you're looking to lighten your hair, try it! I think you'll be happy with it, just as I am.
What are some of your favorite hair products?
P.S. If you follow via GFC, would you care to follow another way as well? I keep hearing GFC is going to be fading out... Thanks!

Interesting post. I'm glad to hear Sun-in works well for you. I tried it years ago but have since stuck with my natural brown. :o)
ReplyDeleteI think the natural look is best. That's what I try to go for in using Sun In. :)
